Our Busy Lives...

I don't even know where to start here...First of all Baby Beau was born October 20th and what a JOY he is bringing to our family. As I write this Beau smiled at me for the first time today...it was awesome..a genuine smile..life doesn't get any better than that! In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out how to be a mother to three instead of two..it's a little challenging at times and I'm still trying to juggle it all...getting there slowly but surely. One day I hope to be a pro at it...=)

Well, Christmas is right around the corner (1 week to be exact) and I'm happy to say I have all my presents bought, wrapped, and placed under the tree...WooHoo!!...Am I the only one who feels completely overwhelmed right now??!!...Get the decorations up, outside lights too! Christmas party's (Four and counting), notes from school needing this and that,PTA, (this is a part time job itself), etc...etc... Yikes! Oh well, tis the season...despite all this STUFF the real reason for the season is JESUS.

I just want to say I'm so thankful today for my Dad. He had a mild heart attack about a week ago and it was a very scary ordeal. Luckily, he was able to get a stint and is doing much better now. I sooooo take my parents for granted, it has really made me stop and think how precious life is and how things could change so fast...take time today to hug your parents, tell them you love them! XOXOXO

Back to school

So summer is over and school has started back...what a great summer we had!! My favorite was our vacation to Destin, Fl. It's was so relaxing there and I'm thankful to be able to have that one on one family time...it was a special trip for sure and glad Eric also had a chance to relax... he needed it!!

Valerie starts 1st grade this year soo far she has done great and is excited about the school year. She has also started playing soccer..her first practice was last week and she loved it..she has already informed me she wants to play next season!! I told her let's get through this one first =)

Aubrey is about to start preschool next week and she is looking forward to that...and So am I!!

In the meantime I have been working hard on the baby's nursery...only a few more things and it will be complete. I'll post pics one it's all done. Im scheduled to have a c-section Oct 20th so it's is coming very fast...Can't wait to meet our little guy!!

BOY OH BOY!!!!!!

Well much has happened since my last post...we found out we are having a BOY....We are beyond excited...God is so good to our family and we give him every ounce of praise.

Sooo with that said we have began decorating the nursery....I have already ordered the bedding and the lady making it said it will be finished in three weeks...can't wait for that!

Besides all the fun baby stuff we are having a great Summer! I was a little worried how it would be at first but I can honestly say I am enjoying my girls, and having Valerie here at home for a change is great...I have missed her I guess!! The girls both just finished dance for the year. They had their recital it was sooo cute..watching them dance on stage was the most precious thing! I loved every minute of it and they were both my shining stars. Valerie did inform me though next year she does NOT want to take dance again...O.K! So we will probably do gymnastics.

Other than that we have stayed pretty busy...swimming...camps...play dates...etc... So far so Good!

Moving right along

I had a Dr.'s visit this week it went good. I was happy to hear I have only gained 4 pounds (not too shabby). I guess continuing my workout routine is paying off while pregnant. I am now 3 1/2 months along, the baby's heartbeat is in the 140's, and we get to find out the sex on June 1st. The big question.. Will we add another girl to our house of pink or will we get to paint a room blue? Can't wait to find out!

In the mean time we are gearing up for summer..Yea! We are leaving for Memorial day to Port Aransas with all my family (mom,dad,brothers and Family's) that should be fun. We have been making Lot's of plans for vacation, camps, etc... I know Valerie will be ready for a break from school, she has worked very hard in K this year and I'm sooooooooo Proud of her.

My first Blog

Well this is my first blog I have ever written. I have always heard and seen other's blogs so I figured I would give it a try. Here it goes....Let me update on my life right now as it is. Eric and I are happily married 10 year's we have two girls Valerie Rose 6yrs old and Aubrey Mae 3. Just recently we found out we are pregnant! So Exciting, We are hoping this time for a boy??? We will have to see what the Lord has in store for us. It's all in his hands and what a peace to know that. So Im 9 weeks pregnant. My first sonogram is this Friday and Im really looking forward to seeing that. Please pray all is well. O.k so this was a little short but not bad for my 1st blog!
